Hi, my daughter drove my car and a grab rider bike knocked into our car, my car mirror and side was damaged and the rider injured his last finger. He had claimed my side insurance but today he sent a lawyer letter wanted to make a claimed of 38k from me. I am puzzled… what am I suppose to do ?

Hi Lucky Twin! If you received a Letter of Demand from the lawyers of the other vehicle in the accident or a Writ of Summons, you should inform your insurers immediately. The Letter of Demand will contain a paragraph telling you to forward the claim together with the supporting documents to your insurers.
