Singapore's automotive community contributes to highest donation record for Heart on Wheels 2026

The annual food donation drive reached a new milestone this year with a record 33,400 food donations, surpassing the 22,246 collected at its launch in 2023.
For most of us, car boots are where you would find a spare tyre, cleaning supplies, or maybe a forgotten gym bag from ages ago.
But over the weekend of 7 and 8 March 2026, the boots and top boxes of vehicles from 13 car and motorcycle clubs were packed with items far more meaningful - food donations for families in need.
Heart on Wheels, organised by Food from the Heart (FFTH) in partnership with Wearnes Automotive, returned for its fourth edition this year.
The two-day drive-through event saw close to 250 vehicles roll up at 45 Leng Kee Road, contributing a whopping total of 33,400 food donations, which exceeded the donation target of 28,000. More than half of the vehicles came from automotive enthusiast groups.
Among the 250 vehicles that showed up, about 100 were motorcycles, with riders revving into Leng Kee Road with donations for the needy.
Corporate partners, organisations, and members of the public accounted for the rest of the contributions, helping the event surpass its 28,000 donation target while raising over $55,000 in cash. The contributions will support FFTH’s five food distribution programmes, sustaining food aid operations for families, seniors, and students in need across Singapore.
Brands under Wearnes Automotive, including Aston Martin, Bentley, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Polestar, and Volvo, also rallied their communities again this year to contribute food items and volunteer support.
Volvo, for instance, assisted with last-mile delivery efforts, helping to distribute School Goodie Bags to 50 students.
The event was officiated by Mr Eric Chua, Senior Parliamentary Secretary and Member of Parliament for Tanjong Pagar GRC (Queenstown).
Mr Eric Chua also arrived at the event with volunteers from Queenstown Grassroots Organisations and 40 students from Bukit Merah Secondary School and Queenstown Secondary School, in vehicles with food donations.
Since the first edition in 2023, Heart on Wheels has distributed over 165,000 food items and raised close to $235,000 in financial contributions. This year’s edition marks the highest record of donations so far, surpassing the more than 33,000 food items and nearly $50,000 achieved by the 2025 event.
So the next time you see a convoy of cars and motorcycles rolling past, their boots might not be filled with gear for a weekend drive, but with supplies ready to help restock someone’s humble home kitchen.
Automotive enthusiasts, corporate partners, and members of the public united with “kampung spirit,” driving Heart on Wheels to its highest-ever donation record.
